About Me

I am a technically-minded FX artist with a passion for the natural, the abstract, and everything in-between.  I approach all of my work with an artistic eye and a desire for problem solving. 

I graduated from Clemson University (South Carolina) with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and a Masters of Fine Arts in Digital Production.  During graduate school I worked on 3 student productions, including one under the mentorship of DreamWorks Animation.  While my focus was FX, I had a hand in everything from story, modeling, rigging, compositing, and pipeline development.

I joined Blue Sky Studios in 2015 where I worked on several projects including Ferdinand and Spies In Disguise and look-development for Nimona.  I also worked closely with the technology group to design and develop various workflows and tools..  Additionally, I helped lead a volunteer group of artists, developers, and managers from across the studio to re-invent our documentation, training, and communication to help foster a more creative and collaborative environment.

After the closing of Blue Sky in 2021, I joined PIXAR where I've worked on the exciting and varied effects of Turning Red, Lightyear, and Elemental.

I am currently a FX Lead at Skydance Animation, working on their upcoming feature Spellbound.
